Cirstie Baker trades as Lady Decorators, a Sussex-based all-female team of interior decorators which she joined and later bought, after it was set up in 2003.

After renovating several properties the lack of reliable, considerate and competent tradespeople frustrated her to the point she decided to take the plunge and start her own company. The painting and decorating industry is dominated by men and wanting to do things a little differently she started building an all lady team of skilful and likeminded interior decorators who can provide a personal, reliable and meticulous service. With a clear objective of building the business by providing an outstanding, flawless interior finish and fantastic customer service. Predominantly for homeowners, but also for interior designers and builders.

What sets them apart is an unerring eye for detail and high quality finishing. Preparation is key together with the experience in dealing with everything from painting or papering onto brand new fresh plaster to more problematic issues such as surface damage, damp stains, efflorescence, mould and mildew as well as making good cracks, dents and other imperfections.
